1967 Ekstrom Vintage Surfboard

’67 Ekstrom, pintail, 9’8” X 23 ½”, original, one of a kind Bat Fin, 9.0 condition. One of a kind. Shaper Carl Ekstrom. I’ve owned this stick for years, bought it from Andy Anderson in Point Loma, CA. He never touched it, I tightened it up some, still original. I never got around to getting Carl to sign it, still can be done, he’s going strong.

Carl told me this stick was one of the coolest he built. He built it for Dickie Moon, team rider, it has the name “Blue Moon” – real nice stick. I think Dickie Moon was Carl’s only team rider. Also part owner of (Duke Kahanamoku's Restaurants).
