1970 Wind an Sea Surfboards –  Vintage Surfboard

1970 short, built at the start of short board era. Few other shorts were built before ’70, those were prototypes.

Bob Hurley shaped this one at the old Wind an Sea surf shop at La Jolla Shores Blvd. 7’3”, cool little stik. All the old original stuff is still there. Color-acid splash tint, all original. Nice fin (fin is not original), box is excellent, original leash plug from factory. First year fins unlimited box. They built excellent boards, like the “Cheroot” –’67, 2 blocks from Wind an Sea Beach.

I did a beautiful reconditioning job on it.
