Looking for the classic old school nose ride? This is it. Shaped by Dan Bendiksen, who was Bing Copelands #1 shaper from the early ' 60's - ' 69. Bing and Dan grabbed the surf craze by storm and came up with designs and shapes that blew everybody away, including the LT.WT. Other board manufacturers had to try and keep up by creating their own and some came close, but still different.
I call the repro's extensions from the 60's, only newer, shaped by the same guy (Dan), old shape with a little extra kick in the tail. There were only 40 of these produced, all custom, different color flower bands. This one is #12, near mint condition. Highly surfable & collectable. Shaped and shipped in ' 97 - Red Lam on both sides - 10'.0 L - 23-1/2" W.
