 ’67 G & S “SS Model” Yellow tint, 9’ 4” X 23 ½” W. Created by Dave McIntyre, General Mgr. of Gordon & Smith Surfboards. A member of Windn’Sea Surf Club for many years, along with all the early greats such as: VanArstdalen, Diffenderfer, Caster, Hynson and so on.

McIntyre opened “Surf Scene” Surf Shop in LaJolla (Bird Rock) in ’67 – ’72. There were a bunch of surf shops up and down Mission Blvd. from P.B.to LaJolla and Surf Scene was one of them.

Dave carried on the Double Black G & S Label associated with some of the Skip Fry Boards of the ‘60s. A very sweet stick, and insane ride. Slight step deck, red hi-density fanned out side stringers, 1/8” center strgr. Yellow poly pro beautiful fin, wave set box and knee patch.
