Caster - Longboard

1965 Bill Caster – Longboard – 3 stix – Black Hi-Density tail block. Black glass on speed fin. 9’.10” L X 23” W. – 8.5 condition. The last board Bill shaped before he got drafted and went to Viet Nam. Bill did 6 tours over there and made it back home without a scratch. He died 14 yrs. later do to complications from agent orange. Bill was a San Diego Boy – a real good surfer and a good friend. He also shaped with Phil Castagnola under the “Olympic” Label, at select surf shops, Pacific Beach, CA. where Bill Andrews and Eric Huffman also worked. Bill was also a member of the Windn'Sea Surf Club.
